Following is a testimony from the Firestorm weekend that I did at Dayspring Church in Springfield, Mo.
Over 500 people from many different churches attended the conference, including a large group from John Brown University in northwest Arkansas and another group of students from Shawnee, OK. Dozens were healed, and hundreds were awakened to living a supernatural lifestyle.
Tremendous joy was released during the conference. This was more than joy-filled services, but rather an understanding of joy as a primary value of the kingdom of God. Since the Firestorm conference joy has become a regular expression of our church life. Shortly after the conference, John, a Dayspring member, received a call from a friend who told him of a baby girl bitten by a spider, and how the doctors were saying they were going to have to amputate the leg to save her life. John felt the presence of the Lord, and said to his friend, “Please don’t be offended by this, but I feel like I should laugh over this situation.” So, right there on the phone, John began to laugh, long and joyful. Shortly afterward the little girl was released from the hospital – both legs healthy and intact. The doctors could not explain the sudden turn-around!
Hello. My name is Vickie. I attend Faith Family Life Centre in Topeka, KS. I am the secretary here. My friend, Justyn, asked me to share a testimony with you. There is a young mother who attends our church. She has just begun her adventure as a Firestarter, and participated recently in a Treasure Hunt. Week before last, a man by the name of John pulled up to our church on a Harley. He said he wanted to thank the people from our church. His testimony was: He was sitting in a Starbucks here in Topeka, when, all of a sudden, a young lady and two other people approached him. She called him by his name, John. He said yes, do I know you? She showed him a piece of paper (a Treasure Map) that said: Starbucks-John, beard. She said God had shown him to them and they were there to tell him that God loved him (and some other things he didn’t share with me.) He wanted us to know he is now serving God 100%!
Yay God! Yay Firestarters! Yay Treasure Hunts!
Thank you for Firestarters, it is impacting so many lives here in Topeka, KS. The city where the Holy Spirit fell in 1901 and touched entire world. Blessings, Vickie
Following is a Treasure Hunt account from Breakthrough Life Church in Johannesburg, South Africa. Since the Supernatural Lifestyle Conference that I did with them last summer, they have been going out on Treasure Hunts every Saturday. This is just one of the many miracles they have seen over the past 9 months! [Read More...]
Doing baptisms here at Bethel church on a Sunday night – Georgian Banov leading worship – It doesn’t get much better!!!
We had an amazing time at a Presbyterian Church – Traditional on the outside and radical on the inside!
Following is of the testimonies I received after a Firestorm Conference I recently conducted in Yakima, Washington. This is a typical example of how people get activated into a supernatural lifestyle.
Friday and Saturday of Firestorm weekend, I watched with wonder as people reported encounters from God and physical healings. I say “with wonder” because I was having a hard time digesting it all. I’ve witnessed a few healings in my life, but each healing left me with an element of doubt. Was the person faking the encounter? Did they fall down to the ground because they’ve seen other people do it? Was the heat sensation there because they were conjuring it up in their mind? Did they say they were healed because everyone was looking at them with high expectations? The same questions milled around in my mind on Friday and Saturday.
Many of you know that we recently took a team to minister in Belize, it was a GREAT trip! We saw so many people healed and set free, as the Good News of the Kingdom was released! We trained a Mennonite community in signs and wonders, prophetic art, and healing, and then took them out to an incredibly poor indian Belizian community that desperately needed to see the Good News. A good time was had by all, as there were many healed and saved. Thank you so much for your financial partnership that allows us to minister in such places that desperately need the Kingdom of God.
Blessings, Kevin
Jesus is the Healer in Yakima!
I was just in Winston, Oregon, teaching on how taking risk to release creative expressions releases the creative power of God. Faith is oftentimes demonstrated in out of the box creativity. For example, Jesus spit in the blind man’s eyes to heal him. Naaman had to dip himself 7 times in the Jordan river. Paul used handkerchiefs to heal people. Peter sometimes used his shadow. I have seen people healed as I changed the lyrics to secular/popular songs. We have even seen people healed playing the “Hoke Poke” – “You put your liver in, you put your liver out, you put your liver in, and you shake it all about…”
Following is an email from one of our First-Year Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry students:
“Last month, a friend came to Bethel to pray for her sister who was too sick to travel herself. She and her family had taken over an orphanage in Haiti, which currently cares for about 60 Haitian children. She recently became ill and had been diagnosed with cancer in her cervix, which spread to her lymphatic system. We got her on the phone, at which time, I saw Kevin Dedmon and explained to him the situation. As he prayed over the cell phone, I saw in the spirit like a movie being run backwards, all the darkness in her system being drawn to one place and shrinking away to nothing as heaven was released over her.
The next day, her energy level increased. That week, all the swelling in her neck went away. Her recent PET scan showed that she is completely cancer free, which totally baffled her doctors! Praise the Lord for His mercy and His love, which know no end.”
This was an interesting account in that this woman said that she did not even believe in healing, but was so desperate that she would go ahead and try it. I explained to her that I often laugh when I release the presence of God in healing because “In His presence is fullness of joy….” I then asked her to put the cell phone on the body part where the cancer was originating, and that I was going to release the presence of God into that area. Once she did, I realized that I was going to be laughing into her cervix!
How embarrassing!
Now I was laughing into the phone, not because of God’s presence I was encountering, but the embarrassment of the situation. It took a few minutes to get the woman’s attention again, and when I did, I asked her if she felt anything!
Again, embarrassment once I realized what I asked!
By this time, I figured that this encounter was a lost cause, and gave the phone back to the first year student. The next week, however, I got this email. God often works in mysterious ways! When we take risk, even on accident, His presence and power is released to change someone’s life forever.
Kevin, this is Bob from Ohio. I met you at a Firestorm Conference at Pleasant Valley Church. I received healing there. I’m the 35 year old that had the brain tumor, spinal problems, blackouts, etc. You also took home the cane that i no longer needed after the healing. Well, everything is still great. My walk with the Lord has grown stronger, and I have a wonderful personnel relationship with God. I’m very involved with several churches in my area now, and looking into Bible Schools to enter the ministry, since I owe God my life, and know some of His plans for me. PRAISE YOU JESUS! Well, I just wanted to let you know how I’m doing, and to thank you. I want to try to have one of my churches schedule a conference of yours in the near future.
God Bless
This man was healed when I called out a word of knowledge for brain cancer. I invited him up on to the stage and began to release the presence of God on him. He had a neck brace on, and needed help to get up the steps to the stage. He needed a cane to stand with because he could not keep his balance without it. He had severe pain in his head and neck. The tumor had affected much of his body, leaving him riddled in pain.
As I began to laugh, declaring the goodness of God over his body, he threw his cane against the wall, which was about 50 feet away, took the neck brace off, and began jumping around the stage completely healed.
I saw him six months later at a Supernatural Lifestyle Conference that I was doing in Cleveland, Ohio, and he told me that the tumor had dissolved, and that he was in perfect health!
Praise God!
