First Time Treasure Hunter

Kevin…I must write…I am so overjoyed with your book. A friend gave me
your book…I read it and gave it to a friend. We went on our first
treasure hunt yesterday…just the two of us. Shirley’s list of clues
included:
Post office
Blue pickup
red shirt.
My list included: Many and with these being the pertinant ones for the day:
Tractor Supply
Striped
Checkered
Billy
Catastrohic
Broken Heart
Sadness
The last clue I went back and wrote in “Distinguished”
Well, we went first to the post office…and there in the parking lot was
a blue pickup. The lot was full…we parked to face the pickup. Then
realizing the pickup was on her list under location we thought that that
for for confirmation we were in the correct place…so we were turning the
car to face the other direction and saw a lady in a red t-shirt….and she
had on a checkered jacket! I could not contain myself and jumped out of
the car…shirley behind me…the car still parked sideways because we had
not finished parking. We told her we were on a treasure hunt and that she
was our treasure….she had no needs to speak of and so we prayed, but
would like for us to pray for her. I prayed for her and prophecied over
her….she cried….said she had not been to church in a long time….she
was so thankful! We were so excited…our first time and we found her in
10 minutes. We then went to Tractor supply!
We went in and looked for clues. Shirley was stopped by someone she knew
and was visiting when a TALL…maybe 6′5″ or so black handsome
distinquished man in a pin striped suit walked by briskly! HE walked to
the counter….I was trying to get Shirleys attention…pointing to the
list under “Distinguished”.  He left the counter and went to the back of
the store. She got free from her conversation and we followed
him…thought he had gone to the restroom. After awhile he came out and
was on his cell phone. We followed him to the counter where he picked up
something and still on the phone briskly walked toowards the doors. I was
hot on his heels. The doors opened and I yelled SIR! He stopped and I told
him we were on a treasure hunt and believed he was the treasure. He
said…what do you want? We told him that He was God’s treasure and was on
our list…we showed him “distinguished” and “striped”. We asked what his
name was and he said William. We asked if anyone ever called him Billy and
showed him Billy on the list. Hesaid he did not like to be called Billy
but, yes, that applied. We asked if he had any prayer needs and he began
to tell us about his 17 year old daughter who was straying and that she
would not listen to him. He was afraid her sister, age 14, would follow
her sisters steps. Tears started pouring down his face!  We said is this a
catastrophic thing to you? He said YES…we showed him the list which
included sadness and broken heart…and he said that applies! He said that
he was so sorry he was crying…men should not cry. He continued crying as
Shirley began to prophecy over him. We then all held hands and
prayed…..his hands were wet from wiping all the tears…he said this is
something…most people do not care anymore. He asked where we went to
church and that he wanted to tell the pastor how wonderful this
was….Shirley and I go to different churches….he is going to hers
Sunday morning.
How awesome it is to look for God’s treasure…and this is such an
exciting way because it has to be ALL GOD! One must seek and hear and obey
God…and you will find HIS treasures who are hurting out there in this
world.
Kevin….thank you so much for sharing your story and your book! We cannot
wait to go on another treasure hunt…You are a blessing!
Nancy
